In 2010  Aggripah Claudius Moyo  invented the school by first registering the Johannesburg branch and the year that follows he again continued in Pretoria . On 5th January 2011  he donated a sum of money towards the establishment of an institution for higher education. This money contributed largely to the capital investment in sedco  College and on 3 January 2012  the school opened its doors for the first time, with Isabel  Choga as its fist  headmistress.

Over the years sedco  College  grew and developed together under the leadership of headmasters  was appointed in 2013 as the headmaster of SEDCO  College Secondary school.

The secondary and primary sections of the school were initially a unit but were separated in 2014.

Sedco  College is one of the best-known schools in the country, and is proud of countless learners who have achieved success in all walks of life. These Old  sedcos  are successful in South Africa as well as in other countries, and contribute to the excellent reputation that sedco College has established over the years.

Loyalty to sedco  traditions is a hallmark of the sedco  boys and girls ; the traditions and image of sedco  College unite the learners and establish a strong brotherhood.
